FLASHCAP INTERACTIVE (2004)

FLASHcap Interactive (2004)

The Development of FLASHcap

My Head Was Spinning...

Just before the Summer of 1998, Bill Indursky, Owner of FLASHcap lost his job in New York City's fashion industry. While on unemployement, he took free courses provided by the city to learn how to run your own business. Our first site was an all FLASH website featuring Bill's head spinning.

Why FLASHcap?
The company was going to use only Macromedia's Flash product to create websites.  Although we do mostly dynamic database driven .ASP websites now, our founder Bill is a Capricorn... and well you could probably figure out the rest.  FLASHcap was born.

Why grey?
Marketing experts would say "it's not grey -- it is silver" but we know better.  At the time of the first website grey was almost never used in web design.  So perhaps we were ahead of our time or just lucky.  Now grey is part of the standard web palette and it has even come into vogue!

Where there others?

In all design there are always those versions that seem really amazing in the short hours of the night.  These cast offs we will be included in this project section when possible.  Below are a few for the FLASHcap sites that did not quite cut it.
